Mil-Tec Lightstick Olive is a compact disposable chemical light source that operates without batteries, rechargeable power sources, or open flame. Thanks to its simple design and reliability, the Lightstick is ideal for outdoor, tactical, and emergency applications.

To activate the lightstick, bend the tube until the internal glass ampoule breaks, then shake it. Once the chemical compounds mix together, a luminescent reaction begins and produces steady light without generating heat.

Construction and Features

The housing is made of durable plastic and contains an internal glass capsule with chemical reagents and dye. During operation, the lightstick does not heat up, create sparks, or require any external power source.

Its waterproof construction allows use even in rain or wet environments. Compact dimensions make it easy to carry in a pocket, backpack, or attached to equipment.

To extend the lighting duration, an activated Lightstick can be placed in a freezer. This slows down the chemical reaction and allows the light source to last longer.
