PROF1Group® is a Ukrainian company with more than 25 years of experience in tactical clothing, military footwear, gear, and professional equipment. Since 2000, we have been working for people who value reliability, functionality, comfort, and confidence in every detail of their equipment.

Our history

PROF1Group® was founded in 2000. The first small store opened in Kyiv in the building of the Sennyi Market on Vorovskoho Street, which is now called Bulvarno-Kudriavska Street. This is where the company’s history began — a company that gradually built strong expertise in military clothing, tactical footwear, and professional gear.

In the following years, the stores “Forrest Gump”, “Rekrut”, “Poligon”, and “Tochka” were opened in Kyiv. Each of them became more than just a retail location — it became a place where customers could receive in-person consultation, compare equipment, choose the right size, assess the fit of clothing or footwear, and receive recommendations from specialists.

Since 2004, PROF1Group® has officially represented leading international brands of tactical clothing, gear, and protection in Ukraine, including 5.11 Tactical® and ESS®. Since 2005, the company has officially represented the German footwear brand LOWA®.

In 2012, we founded the first Ukrainian military brand — P1G®. Until 2019, the brand was known as P1G-Tac®. This area became an important part of PROF1Group®’s development as a Ukrainian company with its own expertise in military clothing and gear.

In 2019, the “Rekrut” store was relocated and reopened in an updated format at 3/34 Frolivska Street, Kyiv.

In 2020, we opened PROF1Group® branded stores in Kharkiv and Lviv. In 2024, the network expanded with a store in Vinnytsia. In 2025, stores were opened in Odesa and Khmelnytskyi. Later, the company continued developing its regional network — PROF1Group® branded stores also operate in Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zhytomyr.

Since 2004, PROF1Group® has been the only distributor in Ukraine of the American brand 5.11 Tactical® — one of the world’s best-known manufacturers of tactical clothing, backpacks, gear, and accessories for military personnel, law enforcement officers, and professional users.

Also since 2004, we have officially cooperated with the American brand ESS®, which specializes in eye protection for military personnel, security forces, and users who need reliable protective eyewear for demanding conditions.

Since 2005, PROF1Group® has officially represented the German footwear brand LOWA® in Ukraine. LOWA® footwear is valued for comfort, stability, well-designed construction, durable materials, and reliability during long-term use in field, urban, mountain, and professional conditions.

In 2012, we founded the first Ukrainian military brand — P1G®. It is PROF1Group®’s own brand, created with the experience of Ukrainian military personnel and professional users in mind.

Own brand P1G®

In 2012, PROF1Group® founded the first Ukrainian military brand — P1G®. Until 2019, the brand was known as P1G-Tac®. From the very beginning, P1G® was created as a practical Ukrainian product for military professionals, law enforcement officers, instructors, and users who need functional equipment for real conditions.

P1G® clothing and gear gained recognition among military professionals, and after the beginning of military aggression against Ukraine, they became especially in demand among those who stood up to defend the interests of our country.

P1G® products were used in practice in the ATO zone across different seasons and received high ratings from users. Field experience, feedback from military personnel, and an understanding of real operating conditions became the foundation for the brand’s further development.

All P1G® products are developed and manufactured in Ukraine using quality global materials and components. During development, attention is paid to ergonomics, durability, freedom of movement, functional pockets, fit, seasonality, compatibility with gear, and resistance to intensive use.

Today, P1G® continues to develop confidently as a Ukrainian military brand focused on the needs of military personnel, law enforcement officers, professional users, and people who choose reliable equipment for demanding conditions. The brand preserves its Ukrainian identity, practical development approach, and ambition to enter the international market.

Social projects and support for the military

The social position of PROF1Group® was formed long before the full-scale war. Since 2005, the company has supported military-oriented competitions in Ukraine, and in 2008–2010 PROF1Group® organized the special forces competition “SWAT Challenge”.

In 2014–2016, the company provided support to Ukrainian units, including the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Marine Corps, and the Main Intelligence Directorate. For us, this was a natural continuation of the company’s work, which for many years has been connected with military clothing, gear, the professional community, and the development of a culture of responsible equipment use.

Since its early years, PROF1Group® has also supported children’s military-patriotic clubs in Ukraine. We consider this area strategically important for developing responsibility, discipline, respect for the country, and the education of future defenders of Ukraine.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation in 2022, PROF1Group® continued to support units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military personnel from different branches. We believe that a company working in the field of military and tactical equipment should not only sell products, but also take responsibility for its role in society.

In 2024, we launched the social initiative “Підтримуй наші війська!”. By purchasing products with the “Підтримуй наші війська!” symbol, customers help the military, as the funds from the sale of these products are directed to targeted assistance for service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also in 2024, PROF1Group® launched the charitable project “Konyk”. Due to the shortage of frontline vehicles, a decision was made to convert vehicles according to military needs and deliver ready “Konyks” to units that require mobility and technical support.
