5.11 GEO7™ Stryke TDU® Rapid Shirt Terrain is a tactical combat shirt designed for wear under body armor, developed for military personnel, law enforcement professionals, instructors and other users who require comfort, freedom of movement and functionality while working with tactical equipment. The design of this model is optimized for use with body armor, a plate carrier or a load-bearing system.

The shirt combines two types of materials selected according to the different levels of stress placed on individual areas of the garment. The torso and back are made from a lightweight, stretch knit fabric that helps wick away moisture and maintain comfort underneath equipment. The sleeves and shoulder area are made from durable Flex-Tac® Stretch Ripstop fabric designed for intensive use in field conditions.

5.11 GEO7™ Stryke TDU® Rapid Shirt Construction Features

The combat shirt construction has been developed with prolonged use of body armor and other equipment in mind. Stretch fabric in the torso area provides a close and comfortable fit without creating unnecessary bulk underneath a plate carrier. The anatomical cut helps maintain natural freedom of movement during active work, changes in body position and movement.

The high stand-up collar provides additional neck coverage and helps reduce direct contact between the skin and equipment. The design also features adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs, allowing the fit of the sleeves to be adapted according to personal preference and the equipment being worn.

For increased functionality, two zippered pockets are positioned on the sleeves. They provide storage for small equipment and remain accessible even when body armor is being worn. The left sleeve additionally features a compartment for pens, a small flashlight or other similarly sized items.

Special pockets for protective padding are positioned at the elbows. This construction allows compatible elbow pads to be added when required without the need to wear separate external elbow protection.

Flex-Tac® Stretch Ripstop and Material Advantages

The sleeves and shoulder area are made from Flex-Tac® Stretch Ripstop with a fabric weight of 136 g/m². The material consists of 78% polyester and 22% cotton. The Ripstop structure increases the fabric's resistance to mechanical damage and helps prevent tears from spreading, which is particularly important for clothing used together with body armor, backpacks and other equipment.

Flex-Tac® technology provides mechanical stretch, allowing the fabric to adapt more effectively to the user's movements. This helps maintain freedom of movement without requiring the field shirt to have an excessively loose fit.

The fabric used for the sleeves and shoulder area features a Teflon™ Finish, which helps reduce the absorption of moisture and dirt by the material and makes the garment easier to care for during intensive use.

Moisture Management and Comfort Under Body Armor

The torso and back are made from a stretch fabric consisting of 87% polyester and 13% elastane with a fabric weight of 150 g/m². This area sits directly underneath body armor or a plate carrier, which is why the primary focus is on moisture management, quick drying and a comfortable fit.

The material helps move excess moisture away from the body and maintain a comfortable microclimate during physical activity. This is particularly important during prolonged use of body armor, when air circulation around the torso is naturally restricted.

The antimicrobial treatment helps control the development of unpleasant odors during prolonged and intensive use of the shirt. The combination of stretch, moisture-wicking performance and quick-drying properties makes the model practical for training, field tasks and prolonged use with tactical equipment.

GEO7™ Terrain Camouflage

GEO7™ Terrain is a camouflage pattern developed by 5.11 Tactical in cooperation with Veil Camo. Its design combines micro and macro elements that help visually disrupt the integrity of the wearer's silhouette at different distances.

The development of GEO7™ incorporated principles of fractal geometry and irregular structures found in nature. By combining elements of different scales, the camouflage is designed to perform across different observation distances and in varied natural environments.

The Terrain version is intended for use in natural landscapes and coordinates well with other tactical and field equipment in corresponding color schemes.
