TacTec® Plate Carrier is a plate carrier from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It has already established itself as one of the most comfortable plate carriers. This model can be used with SAPI and ESAPI type ballistic plates (see sizes below).

Construction Features

The structure of the plate carrier consists of front and rear compartments for ballistic protection, shoulder straps, cummerbund, and evacuation handle. The outer part has MOLLE panels for attaching pouches and additional gear, as well as hook and loop panel for attaching identification patches. The inner part, including shoulder straps, front and rear panels, is equipped with 3D mesh dampening pads for better ventilation and comfortable wear. The shoulder straps are adjustable to customize the fit of the plate carrier to the user.

There is a front handle for quick plate release with one hand, which can be essential in an emergency situation. The cummerbund has a skeletal structure with elastic inserts to improve ventilation, adapt the fit to different body types, and accommodate additional pouches, including side protection. At the back of the plate carrier, there is an evacuation handle Grab-Drag, which opens with one motion to quickly evacuate the casualty from the impact zone.

Advantages of Materials

The plate carrier is made of high-quality 500D density nylon. This material has increased abrasion and tear resistance, allowing it to withstand daily loads and extend the product's service life.

5.11 Tactical® has eliminated the use of PFAS compounds in its products. This reduces the negative impact on the environment and increases the safety of the products not only for people but also for flora and fauna.
