QR Plate Carrier Base is a compact plate carrier from 5.11 Tactical® without cummerbunds (sold separately). It is part of the 5.11 Tactical® QR (Quick Release) Plate Carrier line, designed to meet the needs of military, law enforcement, and rapid response personnel. This plate carrier can be used with SAPI and ESAPI armor plates (see sizes below).

QR Plate Carrier System

The QR Plate Carrier Base model is sold without cummerbunds, but they can be purchased separately:

• Standard - 5.11 Tactical® "QR Plate Carrier Cummerbund"
• Soft armor - 5.11 Tactical® "QR Plate Carrier Soft Armor Cummerbund MultiCam®"

There is also a standard configuration with cummerbunds - 5.11 Tactical® "QR Plate Carrier".

The back panel of the plate carrier is compatible with the 5.11 Tactical® "PC Convertible Hydration Carrier" hydration backpack.

Quick release is possible thanks to the patented 5.11 Tactical® Sierra Bravo™ Slide buckles, which are easy to release, making donning and doffing the plate carrier much faster.

Advantages of Materials

The plate carrier is made of high-quality and durable Nylon 500D. Additionally, the construction features TAC-LAM® laminate inserts for secure attachment of pouches. The shoulder straps are made of Hypalon® - a lightweight and strong material. The combination of technologies and materials ensures the product's lightweight and ease of use.

Size selection for the carrier and armor plates:

• S/M carrier - fits SAPI/ESAPI plates size S (222 mm x 298 mm) and M (241 mm x 318 mm)
• L/XL carrier - fits SAPI/ESAPI plates size L (257 mm x 337 mm) and XL (279 mm x 356 mm)
