QR Plate Carrier Soft Armor Cummerbund is a cummerbund for the QR Plate Carrier Base from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It is suitable for accommodating soft and regular ballistic protection ESAPI HIJ IIIA (see sizes below).

Design Features

The cummerbund is designed for installing soft and ceramic ballistic protection. It comes with special adapters for accommodating protection of 15 x 15 cm and 15 x 20 cm (6" x 6", 6" x 8"). It has multiple sizes and an additional elastic insert, providing extra flexibility and comfort for the user.

Front attachment is done using the patented 5.11 Tactical® Sierra Bravo™ Slide buckles. They are designed for quick release, making donning and doffing the plate carrier much faster. The QR Plate Carrier Soft Armor Cummerbund is attached at the back with Velcro. An auxiliary attachment system with paracord through special holes can also be used.

Material Advantages

The cummerbund is made of high-quality and durable Nylon 500D. Additionally, the construction has TAC-LAM® laminate inserts, ensuring secure attachment of pouches. The combination of technologies and materials results in a lightweight product that is easy to use.

Compatibility of cummerbund sizes with HIJ IIIA ballistic protection sizes:

• S: up to 15 x 25 cm (6" x 10")
• M: up to 15 x 30.5 cm (6" x 12")
• L: up to 15 x 35.5 cm (6" x 14")
• XL: up to 15 x 40.5 cm (6" x 16")
