Mil-Tec Lightstick Yellow is a compact autonomous chemical light source that operates without batteries or electrical power. It is designed for signaling, position marking, emergency lighting, outdoor activities, and field use.
The Lightstick is activated by bending the tube until the internal glass capsule breaks. After shaking, the chemical compounds mix together and initiate a luminescent reaction that provides illumination for 6-8 hours.
Construction and Features
The housing is made of durable plastic and contains an internal glass ampoule with chemical compounds and dye. During operation, the lightstick does not generate heat, requires no batteries, and remains safe to use.
The waterproof construction allows the Lightstick to operate even underwater. Its lightweight and compact dimensions make it easy to carry in a pocket, backpack, or attached to equipment.
