Tibet EVO 200 GTX® HI – is are winter boots from the LOWA® brand. They are designed for movement and static loads under the influence of extreme mountain conditions. This model combines durability, functionality, heat preservation and protection from precipitation. Because of this, the Tibet EVO 200 GTX® HI will be a good choice not only for tourists, but also for the military.

Advantages of materials

The main raw material from which Tibet EVO 200 GTX® HI is made is genuine leather (nubuck). This is a durable and wear-resistant material, which also has high vapor permeability and moisture protection. Nubuck is used on the tongue, which is softer and more elastic. To protect the side area of ​​the leather, a rubber welt is placed on the boot, which also allows the use of ice crampons, snowshoes and climbing crampons on rubber clamps. The rubber welt also protects the shoe and foot from stones and branches.

Inside the boot is placed technological insulation PrimaLoft® 200, which was specially designed to protect against low temperatures. For protection against precipitation, a Gore-Tex® Duratherm membrane is used. It guarantees protection against moisture from the outside and good vapor permeability, and also has an additional layer of insulation for better heat retention. The most important thing that distinguishes this membrane from analogues is product control at each stage of production directly by the Gore-Tex® company.

Related technologies

The front and side areas of the boot are designed with Minimal Seams technology, which reduces the number of seams and overlaps by using large pieces of leather in the upper of the boot. This reduces the number of pressure points on the foot, allowing for increased comfort while walking.

The FlexFit system allows for a natural range of motion in the ankle. Special inserts in the Achilles tendon area and between the upper and lower lacing zones allow the foot to flex and extend comfortably. At the same time, the foot remains securely fixed.

Inside the boot is a LOWA® Insulate Pro insulated insole. It has a foil insert inside that shields the cold coming from the ground and retains heat inside. This way, the foot is protected from the cold not only by the insulation on the sides, but also by the warmth of the foot.

Vibram® Mottarone Arctic Grip sole

It was specially designed for use in extremely cold conditions. This sole provides incredible traction on rocky, smooth and wet icy surfaces thanks to special anti-slip inserts. This is why the Tibet EVO 200 GTX® HI is a constant companion for tourists, as they have proven themselves well during multi-day and difficult mountain expeditions around the world.

Inside, between the upper part of the shoe and the sole, there is a Dual Density DuraPU® midsole - a high-tech foam layer. It plays a key role not only in the cushioning properties of the shoe, but also prevents excessive pronation and supination of the foot (an unnatural bending of the foot inward and outward, respectively). Also, with constant use, DynaPU® does not lose its high performance characteristics.

Dual-zone lacing technology

For reliable and maximum comfort of foot fixation, a two-zone lacing system is provided. It consists of closed loops and hooks and allows you to lace up the foot and ankle area with different forces. Special I-Lock loops with an integrated blocker help it in this. After the loop is lowered to the shoe, the lace is securely fixed in the selected position.

The anatomical C4-Tongue has an additional lining that helps reduce pressure points on the ankle. It houses a special hook that is part of the patented X-Lacing technology. Thanks to this, the tongue is held both vertically and horizontally. This prevents slipping, thereby reducing pressure points or the possibility of dropsy. X-Lacing ensures that the pressure of the laces is transmitted not only to the hooks, but also to the tongue.

Warranty and care

The company PROF1Group® is the sole official distributor of the LOWA® Task Force (Professional) footwear line in Ukraine since 2005 (link to the official Lowa® website). All LOWA® footwear comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects. If defects are found during use, you need to:

• write an email to [email protected];
• send a photo of the defect and your order number (or a purchase receipt from our retail stores).

The warranty period is 3 months from the date of purchase (considering the seasonality of the footwear according to the current Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Rights Protection”).

The warranty does not cover defects and damages caused by negligent or improper use of the footwear (drying near an open heat source, etc.).
