A/T 8” The Waterproof Non-Zip Boot is a tactical boot from the All Terrain Load Assistance System Technology line of footwear from the famous 5.11 Tactical® brand. It is well suited for use in the demi-season in the city and beyond.
A.T.L.A.S. technology is an acronym for All Terrain Load Assistance System. This involves a combination of two types of polyurethane foam, the A.T.L.A.S. stabilizing arch support and the Ortholite® insole.
Design features and materials
The upper part of the boot is made of a combination of natural suede - a durable material that has good vapor permeability and moisture protection properties. Inside is the TacDry® membrane, which guarantees protection from precipitation and good vapor permeability in any type of activity. This membrane is made according to the BBP resistant standard, which ensures the material's resistance to the penetration of blood-borne pathogens. This technology is also used in the production of clothing and footwear for military personnel, paramedics and other professions associated with the risk of injury and wounds.
A/T 8” Boot has an aggressive tread pattern that guarantees good traction on various surfaces. Thanks to these features, this boot model allows you to comfortably wear a heavy backpack, body armor and similar equipment for a long time in both field and urban conditions. The outsole is also resistant to oil and gasoline, as well as slipping on slippery surfaces. This pair of shoes has a lightweight design that reduces their weight and provides ventilation in hot summer conditions. The loops on the tongue and ankle facilitate quick and comfortable putting on.
