RUSH® Sierra One Pack MultiCam® is a specialized tactical backpack from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It was developed in collaboration with sniper teams and special forces personnel. The Sierra One Pack allows for transporting weapons up to 90 cm in length and optimally organizing the internal space. This model is part of the premium line of 5.11 Tactical® RUSH® gear.

How did the history of RUSH® backpacks begin?

The first version of the RUSH® line was developed in 2007 in collaboration with special operations veteran Kyle Lamb. He participated in many combat conflicts, including Operation Desert Storm and the Battle of Mogadishu (Somalia) depicted in the movie "Black Hawk Down". In these backpacks, he embodied his experience of long movements with heavy loads, as well as the experience of his colleagues.

Based on user feedback, the line was updated and the RUSH® 2.0 series was introduced. The etymology of the names remained the same: the number in the backpack's name represents the number of hours one can autonomously spend outside the base. Currently, the following backpack models exist:

5.11 Tactical® RUSH® Sierra One Pack 62L Backpack

The RUSH® Sierra One Pack model is a tactical backpack that combines the functions of a weapon case. The design includes five pockets that close with zippers with two sliders. This allows for opening compartments from any side, and the zipper pulls help to open them even with tactical gloves on.

On the front, there are two compartments with organizers inside and one pocket with a hidden mesh helmet holder. On each side, there is a pocket where a rifle or tripod can be placed. They can be secured with four adjustable fastex straps that come with the backpack. The top flap also has an organizer and provides access to the main compartment.

External MOLLE panels are placed for attaching additional pouches or gear. This model is also compatible with the "5.11 Tactical® RUSH® Tier System (4 pack)" attachment system. For convenient backpack transport on the back, there are shoulder straps with fastex buckles for quick unloading of the load from the shoulders. Special carrying handles on the sides and top of the backpack allow for carrying it in various ways and conveniently pulling it out of the trunk.

Inside the backpack, there is a removable aluminum frame with HDPE, and the horizontal supports are made of fiberglass, which act as additional stiffening ribs and facilitate the carrying of loads. The main compartment and the front bottom pocket have EVA foam lining for equipment protection. This foam has a closed-cell type that does not absorb moisture, does not compress, and does not wear out, thus maintaining its damping properties for a long time. There are damping pads on the back outside, providing additional ventilation and comfort.

The RUSH® Sierra One Pack backpack is made of high-quality nylon in the original MultiCam® color. The main fabric has a density of 500D, and stress zones are reinforced with 1050D nylon. The MultiCam® color retains its color well and does not change under UV radiation. This fabric has increased abrasion and tear resistance, allowing it to withstand daily loads and extend the product's service life.
