MVR 35L – is a tactical backpack from 5.11 Tactical®. It is designed for tactical missions and quick access to equipment. The series also includes a smaller-capacity backpack, namely the 5.11 Tactical® MVR 25L Backpack.

Construction Features

The backpack features four compartments and additional side pockets. The front panel includes two zippered pockets. The lower one houses an administrative panel inside with small compartments for tactical pens, notepads, etc. It is also equipped with a MOLLE panel for attaching additional pouches and a hook-and-loop panel for attaching identification patches. The upper section features an elastic cord system with a stopper, which allows securing a tactical jacket or other items.

The main compartment opens 270° to provide maximum access to the interior. Side compression straps with buckles prevent excessive opening. They also serve as attachment points for additional equipment and help reduce the backpack volume when it is not fully loaded. Inside the compartment, there are zippered mesh pockets located on the sides and on the flap. The internal back panel is made with hook-and-loop material, allowing attachment of a tactical holster or pouches. The backpack also features a hydration bladder attachment system with a drinking tube outlet.

A concealed side zipper located behind the back panel provides access to the interior compartment. It is convenient for storing important documents or small electronic devices. The side panels are equipped with pockets suitable for carrying flasks or water bottles.

The backpack can be carried in several ways thanks to the classic shoulder straps and top carry handle. The shoulder straps feature MOLLE/PALS webbing for attaching an additional pouch or other equipment with a carabiner. The lower part of the straps is equipped with buckles that allow the load to be quickly released from the shoulders. The straps also feature a sternum strap with a buckle to help distribute the backpack weight. For even better weight distribution, the backpack is equipped with attachment points for the 5.11 Tactical® "RUSH® Belt Kit" load-bearing waist belt (sold separately).

Material Advantages

The MVR backpack is made of high-quality 900D polyester. Both sides of the fabric feature a protective PU coating (polyurethane), which provides resistance against UV radiation, moisture, and abrasion. Additionally, the material is treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, making the fabric resistant to precipitation.

The back panel features special inserts made of 3D Air Mesh fabric. It provides high breathability and creates a cushioning effect that reduces pressure from the carried equipment on the body. Inside the back panel construction, there is an HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) insert. This is a strong, flexible, and lightweight thermoplastic material that creates a rigid frame for proper weight distribution.
