Founders Jacket is a tactical blazer from 5.11 Tactical®. It features a civilian appearance on the outside while concealing tactical functionality on the inside. This model is particularly useful for undercover work performed by law enforcement and security professionals.

Design Features

The blazer features eight pockets for carrying essential gear. On the exterior, there are three vertical-entry pockets: two lower pockets and one chest pocket on the left side. Inside, there are five pockets in total: two zippered pockets, one vertical-entry pocket with a button closure, and two vertical-entry pockets incorporating Ready Loop™ technology. This proprietary 5.11 Tactical® innovation securely holds a smartphone in place even during active movement.

The interior also includes elastic retention bands for communication devices in the upper section and additional equipment in the center. These retainers allow convenient storage of a tactical knife or a tactical pen, ensuring quick access when needed. Additional concealed features include a pocket designed for plastic restraints and dedicated pockets for handcuff keys.

Material Advantages

Founders Jacket is made from Double Weave fabric, a blend of polyester and elastane. The material was selected to provide easy home maintenance. A standard washing cycle is enough to keep the blazer looking as if it has just returned from professional dry cleaning.
