Bristol Parka is a warm and functional winter parka with an extended cut. It is designed for daily urban use as well as long walks in cold weather. This model will also be useful for military personnel, special service employees, law enforcement officers, and anyone who values reliability and practicality.

In the 5.11 Tactical® range, there is also a shortened version of this model, namely the 5.11 Tactical® Valiant Duty Jacket.

Bristol Parka consists of two products - an outer membrane jacket and an inner insulated softshell jacket, which can be used together or separately as standalone items. Additionally, the softshell has detachable sleeves, transforming it into a convenient vest.

Materials Used in the Jacket

The main fabric of the outer jacket is a two-layer Hardshell membrane. This membrane has a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 6,000 g/m2 in 24 hours. These are advanced ratings more than sufficient for walks in extremely heavy precipitation with a heavy load on your shoulders. All seams are fully sealed, so you can be confident in staying dry under the jacket even in heavy rain. This material is also treated with the BBP standard, providing material resistance to blood-borne pathogens. The special DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment further protects against precipitation.

The inner insulated jacket is made of a three-layer softshell. The outer fabric part protects against precipitation, a membrane inside provides wind and rain protection, and the inner part is fleece, helping to retain heat.

Features of the Bristol Parka Construction

The outer jacket has six functional pockets and three pockets with hidden Velcro panels for attaching identification patches. Shoulder loops are provided for a microphone or earpiece. The hood can be tucked into the collar when not needed or detached and stored in the rear pocket. A Quixip® system is added on the sides for quick access to gear on the belt, which can also be used to improve ventilation. Additional ventilation zippers are provided in the underarm area. The central zipper is one-sided and has an external storm flap. The hem and hood volume can be adjusted with elastic cord and stoppers. The softshell attaches to the main jacket and can be worn separately. The jacket has three pockets and the Quixip® system, just like the main jacket.
