Starling Primaloft® Insulated Jacket is a women's insulated jacket from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It is designed to retain heat and maintain a comfortable body temperature on the coldest days. This model is suitable for daily use in the city and beyond. It can be used as a primary jacket or as an insulating layer under a waterproof shell.

Construction Features

Three pockets are provided for EDC items: two lower ones with zippers and one internal pocket. The deep hood is equipped with an elastic band around the perimeter for protection from precipitation. The cuffs have an elastic knit insert for a better fit of the jacket. Also, to better protect against precipitation and wind, the central one-way zipper inside is equipped with a storm flap.

Advantages of Materials

The outer part of the jacket is made of polyester fabric, and the lining is made of Ripstop nylon. The Starling Jacket retains heat well thanks to the high-quality PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, which is zonally located on the body, sleeves, and hood. The material structure consists of the thinnest hollow fibers, which resemble down in their structure.
