TacDry Rain Shell 2.0 from 5.11 Tactical® - is an updated version of the tactical jacket TacDry Rain Shell, which has proven itself as a reliable companion in bad weather. It is suitable for both professional and everyday use.

Material and Construction Features

The material of the jacket is a two-layer Hardshell membrane. This fabric effectively protects against precipitation and allows excess body vapor to escape. The waterproofness rating of this membrane is 20,000 mm, and the breathability is 10,000 g/m2 in 24 hours. These are advanced indicators more than sufficient for walks in extremely heavy rain with a heavy load on your shoulders. Inside the jacket, there is a mesh lining that provides additional protection and comfort throughout the day. All seams are sealed, so you can be confident in staying dry under the jacket even in heavy rain.

For better protection against precipitation, the TacDry Rain Shell 2.0 features: an external storm flap and internal chin protection, adjustable hem and elastic cuffs, as well as a stowable hood in the collar. To accommodate necessary gear and EDC items, there are 3 pockets - two external at the bottom and one internal.

Inside TacDry, there is a special loop for convenient routing of communication device cables. The jacket also includes hidden panels for ID attachment, located on the chest and back. These hook and loop panels can be quickly accessed from special zippered pockets. The patented Quixip® 5.11® system is used for quick access to belt gear.
