Sabre Jacket 2.0 - an updated version of a mid-season jacket from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It is suitable for use in moderately cool weather in the city and beyond. This model is suitable for both civilian and military use.

Construction features

The Sabre Jacket 2.0 has nine zippered pockets for convenient storage of various gear. Six external pockets are located: a pair in the chest area with side entry, two lower front pockets, a pair in the upper part of the sleeves, and one in the waist area. Two internal pockets are suitable for storing electronics to protect them from freezing. The design also includes hook and loop panels on the sleeves and three pockets with concealed hook and loop panels for attaching identification patches.

The central zipper is one-way and has an integrated chin guard. The cuff volume is adjustable with a hook and loop strap, and the jacket's hem is elastic with stoppers for a better fit. The hood can be detached and stored in the rear pocket if necessary. The patented 5.11 Tactical® Quixip® system on the sides allows for quick access to belt gear. These zippers can also be used as ventilation openings to maintain optimal body temperature.

Material advantages

This model is made of a three-layer Softshell membrane. This fabric effectively protects against precipitation and removes excess body vapor. This membrane has a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability rating of 7,000 g/m2 in 24 hours. These are advanced indicators, sufficient for prolonged exposure to heavy rain. All seams are sealed, so there is no need to worry about getting wet in heavy precipitation. The fabric also has a special BBP (BloodBorne Pathogen) treatment, providing protection against pathogens transmitted through blood.

5.11 Tactical® has eliminated the use of PFAS compounds in its products. This reduces the negative impact on the environment and increases the safety of goods not only for people but also for flora and fauna.
