Duty Rain Shell is a waterproof jacket from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It is suitable for use in moderately cold weather in the city and beyond. This model will be useful for all representatives of the security and defense forces for everyday and operational use.

Design Features

The jacket has two pockets for convenient storage of various gear. The central zipper is equipped with two sliders for opening in both directions. Inside and outside the zippers, there are storm flaps that provide additional protection from wind and precipitation. For additional protection from rain and a better fit of the garment, the hood, cuffs, and bottom edge are equipped with elastic bands.

On the sides of the jacket, there is the patented 5.11 Tactical® Quixip® system, primarily designed for instant access to gear on the belt. These zippers can also be used as ventilation openings to maintain optimal body temperature.

Material Advantages

This model is made of a 2.5-layer Hardshell membrane. This fabric excels in protecting against precipitation and removing excess body vapor. This membrane has a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 10,000 g/m2 per 24 hours. These are advanced indicators, sufficient for prolonged exposure to heavy rain. All seams are sealed, so there is no need to worry about getting wet during heavy precipitation. The fabric also has a special BBP (BloodBorne Pathogen) treatment, providing protection against pathogens transmitted through blood.

5.11 Tactical® has eliminated the use of PFAS compounds in its products. This reduces the negative impact on the environment and increases the safety of goods not only for people but also for flora and fauna.
