3-in-1 Parka 2.0 – is a tactical jacket for mid-season and moderately cold weather from the brand 5.11 Tactical®. It consists of two items: an outer membrane jacket and an inner insulating fleece jacket, which can be used together or separately as standalone garments. Thanks to high-quality materials and versatile configuration options, this jacket can be used by representatives of the Security and Defense Forces for everyday and operational use.

Design features

The outer jacket has six spacious pockets for carrying essential gear. External loops for a microphone and camera are provided, as well as hidden hook-and-loop panels. In the chest area, there are ReadyPocket™ pockets that provide instant access to their contents. Along the side seams, there are special Quixip® system zippers that allow quick access to gear located on the belt. These zippers can also be used to improve ventilation.

The hood can be stowed in the collar or detached and stored in the rear pocket when needed. Underarm ventilation zippers help release excess heat during active movement. The central zipper is equipped with dual sliders for two-way opening. It also features an integrated chin guard and an internal storm flap. The cuffs have an integrated elastic band and hook-and-loop closure for adjusting the fit. The bottom hem is also equipped with an elastic cord for a better fit.

The inner jacket has five pockets, two of which are designed using ReadyPocket™ technology. It is also equipped with loops for a microphone and camera and features side zippers of the Quixip® system. In high-stress areas, nylon reinforcements are placed to protect against precipitation and wear.

Material advantages

The main jacket is made of a two-layer Hardshell membrane. It has a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m2 per 24 hours. Due to its properties, this material provides reliable protection against precipitation and effectively wicks away excess body heat. To enhance water-repellent properties, a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating is applied to the fabric. The fabric is also manufactured according to the BBP standard, which provides resistance to bloodborne pathogen penetration.

The additional jacket is made of high-quality and dense fleece. Its main advantage is that it retains heat well even when wet, while drying quickly. It also has anti-pilling properties that prevent the formation of lint.

5.11 Tactical® has eliminated the use of PFAS compounds in its products. This reduces the negative environmental impact and increases the safety of products not only for people but also for flora and fauna.
