All Terrain Load Assistance System
A/T™ or A.T.L.A.S. - is a technology designed to manage weight distribution, reducing stress and fatigue in the legs when carrying heavy loads. It consists of the following elements:
- Ortholite® insole - improved cushioning
- A/T™ Support Plate - removable insert for better stability
- Polyurethane foam midsole:
- Force Foam™ - located in the heel area and absorbs shocks during movement
- Echo Foam™ - located in the forefoot and is responsible for cushioning
Design features and materials
The upper part of the boot is made of a combination of natural suede - a durable material that has good vapor-permeable and moisture-proof properties. Inside is a 5.11 Tactical® TacDry® membrane, which guarantees protection from precipitation and good vapor permeability for any type of activity. This membrane is made according to the BBP resistant standard, which ensures the material's resistance to the penetration of blood-borne pathogens. This technology is also used in the production of clothing and footwear for military personnel, paramedics and other professions associated with the risk of injuries and wounds.
A/T™ Boots have an aggressive tread pattern that ensures good traction on various surfaces. Thanks to these features, this model of boots allows you to comfortably wear a heavy backpack, body armor and similar equipment for a long time both in the field and in urban conditions. The sole is also resistant to oils and gasoline, as well as to slipping on slippery surfaces. This pair of shoes has a lightweight design, which reduces their weight and provides ventilation in hot summer conditions. Loops on the tongue and ankle contribute to quick and comfortable dressing.
5.11 Tactical® company has eliminated the use of PFAS compounds in its products, reducing the negative impact on the environment and increasing the safety of products not only for people, but also for flora and fauna.
