The Acadia Down Vest is a vest with natural down insulation by the 5.11 Tactical® brand. It can be used as outerwear or as insulation under a waterproof jacket or demi-season jacket. The brand's assortment also includes the 5.11 Tactical® Acadia Down Jacket.

Design features and materials

The main and lining material of the jacket is high-quality polyester. The outer part of the product has a protective DWR impregnation. Durable Water Repellent makes the fabric resistant to precipitation. Inside is a natural insulation made of R.D.S. certified down. The Responsible Down Standard is a voluntary standard that encourages more humane treatment of ducks and geese in the industrial production of clothing. The standard also provides greater transparency in production processes and enables consumers to learn more about the origin of the materials in products.

The design includes a quilted vest with four pockets: two lower pockets, one chest pocket and one inner pocket. They are zippered, and the chest pocket has a special media port for headphones. The central zipper is equipped with a chin guard and an internal flap for maximum moisture protection. A special bag is provided for transportation of the vest, which ensures its compact storage in a backpack or car trunk.
