Tactical Silver Guard Socks by P1G® are universal socks for tactical tasks. This model can be used throughout the year. They provide thermal regulation and good breathability when worn with different types of footwear.

Design features

The socks have a zoned design to ensure comfort during long walks. The toe and heel zones are reinforced to increase wear resistance and retain heat. Flat-seam toe and cushioning inserts to reduce friction. Special compression zone provides support for the arch of the foot. Elastic cuff fits the foot and prevents the sock from slipping.

Materials from which the socks are made

The main material is high quality natural cotton, which creates softness and comfort while moving around. It is reinforced with polyamide for increased durability, and Coolmax and silver yarn are added to the composition. Coolmax material helps socks wick moisture away from the foot and dry quickly. Silver Yarns is a yarn used to make special threads that have a polyamide core and 99.9% pure silver on the outside. Silver ions are activated by body heat and bind to bacteria, destroying ribonucleic acid and DNA synthesis. Thus, bacteria are destroyed and their reproduction is inhibited, which in turn prevents the formation of unpleasant foot odor. Polypropylene and elastane in the composition play an auxiliary role and provide increased wear resistance and elasticity of the material.
