WALRUS MK-2 is an updated version of winter pants from the brand P1G®. They are designed to protect from precipitation and keep warm even on the coldest day. WALRUS is suitable for daily use in the city as well as for long walks in cold weather. This model is a commercial equivalent of the seventh layer of the American Extended Cold Weather Clothing System - ECWCS Gen III Level 7.

Features of the materials

The new generation of WALRUS MK-2 pants has an updated design and modern materials, making it a reliable barrier against cold weather. The outer part and lining are made of durable nylon, which extends the product's service life. The outer fabric is Havos Mini Ripstop, which has a special reinforced thread in its weave, providing increased durability.

Also, zonal insulation is used to maintain a stable body temperature. The insulation is placed throughout the pants, except for the lower part of the legs. This is done using non-woven silicon with a density of 100 g/m2. Non-woven silicon is a lightweight material that does not clump and provides good heat retention without hindering air circulation.

Construction advantages

The design includes four front pockets with flaps and velcro closures. Inside the cargo pockets, there are compartments for organizing EDC items. The waist in the hip area has an insert of elastic band for a better fit. Wide belt loops allow for secure belt fastening. Side zippers allow for quick removal and wearing of the pants, and the design allows for partially opening the pants for physiological needs. There are special pockets for knee pads in the knee area. The width of the leg opening is adjustable with elastic band and velcro strap. Special hooks are provided at the front of the legs to secure the pants to boots.

The pants come with detachable suspenders with velcro. They have built-in adjusters for adapting to the necessary length. The suspender attachments are located on the sides, keeping the pants on the shoulders and preventing them from falling down when opening the fly.
