5.11 Tactical® RUSH® 100 Backpack 60L is a large 60-liter tactical backpack designed for carrying heavy gear during extended missions, travel, field operations and duty use. The pack features a full load-bearing system with an internal frame, adjustable shoulder straps and a removable load-bearing waist belt designed to transfer a significant portion of the load from the shoulders and back to the hips.

The RUSH® 100 features a modular design with external MOLLE webbing, two removable side pouches, RUSH® Tier System compatibility, hydration compatibility and a large main compartment with a 270° zip opening. The main body is made from durable 500D Nylon, while the base is reinforced with heavier-duty 1050D Nylon.

60-Liter Capacity for Extended Missions and Heavy Gear

The RUSH® 100 provides a total capacity of 60 liters (3661 cu in). This provides ample space for clothing, equipment, communications gear, water, food and other items required for extended periods away from base.

The main compartment opens approximately 270°, allowing the pack to be opened wide for quick access to its contents and more convenient gear organization.

Aluminum Frame and Fiberglass Rods

One of the key features of the RUSH® 100 is its internal load-support system. It consists of a custom aluminum frame combined with reinforced horizontal fiberglass rods.

The frame provides structural rigidity, helps the backpack maintain its shape and transfers the load to the load-bearing waist belt. When properly adjusted, more of the pack's weight should be supported by the belt and hips rather than the shoulder straps.

Adjustable Torso Length — 43–53 cm

The shoulder harness position can be adjusted according to the user's torso length. The RUSH® 100 accommodates approximate torso lengths of 17–21" (43–53 cm).

For proper adjustment, the manufacturer recommends measuring from the C7 vertebra at the base of the neck to the level of the iliac crest. Adjusting the height of the shoulder harness helps position the waist belt correctly over the hips and improves load distribution.

Removable Load-Bearing Waist Belt

The padded load-bearing waist belt is designed to transfer a significant portion of the backpack's weight to the hips. The belt is removable and features external Web MOLLE for attaching additional pouches and compatible equipment.

The RUSH® 100 is available with two waist belt sizes:

Shoulder Harness, Load Lifters and Sternum Strap

The shoulder straps feature an adjustable-height system and are complemented by load lifter straps, which help bring the upper portion of the pack closer to the user's back. The load lifters can also be repositioned between attachment points for improved load distribution.

An adjustable sternum strap helps stabilize the shoulder straps during movement. Together with the load-bearing waist belt and internal frame, this system allows the backpack to be more precisely fitted to the individual user.

Two Removable Side Pouches

The RUSH® 100 features two removable side pouches. They can be quickly detached from the main backpack when required.

Using the provided lower straps, a side pouch can be configured as a separate shoulder bag. This allows the main pack to be left behind while carrying only the essential gear needed for a shorter movement or task.

270° Opening Main Compartment

The large main compartment opens almost completely thanks to its 270-degree zipper. This design simplifies packing and provides quick access to equipment stored in different areas of the backpack.

Inside, the pack includes features for hydration system organization, including an internal hydration loop and reservoir sleeve.

Hydration Compatible

The RUSH® 100 is hydration compatible. The interior provides space for a hydration reservoir, while the backpack features a dedicated hydration tube port.

Front Admin Compartment
