German Large Rucksack Gen.II from the brand Sturm Mil-Tec® is an updated tactical backpack that is perfect for carrying large loads. It will be useful for military personnel, tourists, fishermen, and all enthusiasts of an active lifestyle.

Design and Materials Features

The backpack's design consists of five compartments: main, front pocket, two side pockets, and a pocket in the top flap. The main compartment closes with a special drawstring with a stopper and is covered from the top by a flap that is secured with fasteners. Inside the central compartment, there is an additional pocket. The top flap has a zippered pocket with a built-in rain cover. There are three external zippered pockets for storing gear that needs to be easily accessible. MOLLE panels are provided for attaching additional pouches, and hook-and-loop panels are available for attaching identification patches.

The backpack's back is made of 3D mesh with a soft lining inside. The shoulder straps also have a soft lining for increased comfort and are adjustable to fit the user. A chest strap is provided for better stability, allowing the backpack to be positioned correctly. At the bottom of the back, there is an integrated load-bearing belt. Its main function is to transfer weight from the back to the pelvic bone and legs, making it easier to carry loads and reducing fatigue in the neck and chest area of the spine. The load-bearing belt also secures the bottom of the backpack, ensuring a snug fit to the body during active movements.

The main fabric used in the construction of the German Large Rucksack Gen.II is 600D density polyester. The material has a protective polyurethane coating that protects the contents of the backpack from precipitation. Inside the back and shoulder straps, there is a lining of polyethylene foam, adding softness and comfort during long periods of carrying heavy loads.
