The Shemag is a scarf or head wrap made from 100% Cotton. It protects from dust, sand,sun,wind, and cold. It can also be used as a camouflage covering for gear or equipment. The Shemag comes originally from the Arab region and was called a "Palestinian headdress“, and brought to Europe by British soldiers after the second World War.
