DDR raincoat
The Mil-Tec «Zeltbahn» cloak-tent is made to the original specification of the 1968 DDR army cloak-tent. This piece has proven itself perfectly in various weather conditions in both civilian and military applications. Its simple and rugged construction makes it still relevant today - more than half a century after its creation.
The construction of this model is a windproof and moisture-proof raincoat of rectangular shape, 180x176 cm in size and made of durable cotton. The material has a special moisture-repellent impregnation. On all four sides the canvas has aluminum buttons and loops for fastening and canting a small tent, and with several of these products, you can model any size tent (depending on the units available). Also, thanks to the special structure, this model can be used as a raincoat. For this purpose, there are two arm slits with buttons and two drawstring cords to model the hood.
The rugged and durable design allows this model to be used as a padded stretcher for cargo or casualties. Also this raincoat can be easily integrated for use as a weather protection tent or for camouflage purposes, thanks to its camouflage coloring.
