The membrane parka made to the specifications of the original Bundeswehr moisture wicking parka. The basic material has a special three-layer construction that provides excellent protection against wind and rain. It can also be used in moderate winters with the help of an insulating layer.

The overall structure of the jacket is a waterproof parka with a main layer made of durable and wear-resistant nylon. The intermediate layer here is a breathable polyurethane membrane. The inner part of the jacket is also made of nylon. Thanks to the design of the angled sleeve, the shoulder area has no seams - this prevents chafing during long periods of wearing a backpack or gear. All through seams of the jacket are taped for extra weather protection.

The jacket has two deep plunge pockets with button flap. The hood is integrated into the collar for added practicality and is adjustable with a drawstring with stoppers for a better fit and protection. The cuffs of the jacket have a velcro fastener for a comfortable fit. The central zipper is YKK and has an external wind and moisture protection overlay that closes with buttons. The bottom edge of the jacket has a drawstring closure for better insulation. There are velcro panels on the chest left and on both forearms for attaching insignia.
