ESS® Crossblade™ Frame and Nosepiece Kit is a replacement frame kit for ESS® Crossblade™ ballistic eyewear that includes a Tri-Tech Fit™ frame and Standard Nosepiece. The kit allows you to restore, upgrade or create the required Crossblade™ configuration using compatible interchangeable lenses.

One of the key features of the Crossblade™ is Modular Fit — the ability to adapt the protective eyewear to the user's individual facial structure. The system offers two lens and nosepiece formats: Standard and the more compact NARO. The Tri-Tech Fit™ frame itself is compatible with both types of Crossblade™ lenses, but the appropriate nosepiece format must be used.

Crossblade™ Tri-Tech Fit™ — Comfortable Fit

The Tri-Tech Fit™ frame is designed to provide a secure and stable fit while minimizing uncomfortable pressure points. Its construction helps distribute pressure evenly and maintain comfort during extended wear.

This is particularly important during active use, when protective eyewear needs to remain securely in place without causing unnecessary discomfort over long periods.

Modular Fit — Standard and NARO

The ESS® Crossblade™ system offers two fit configurations:

• Standard — Standard lens with the corresponding Standard Nosepiece;
• NARO — a more compact NARO lens with the corresponding NARO Nosepiece for users who benefit from the smaller geometry of the system.

This modular design allows the Crossblade™ system to be more precisely adapted to the shape and size of the user's face.

This kit comes with a Standard Nosepiece. If a Crossblade™ NARO lens is to be used, the corresponding Crossblade™ NARO Nosepiece must be installed.

Compatible with Crossblade™ Standard and NARO Lenses

The Crossblade™ Tri-Tech Fit™ frame is compatible with both Crossblade™ lens sizes — Standard and NARO. This allows a single frame to serve as the foundation for different protective eyewear configurations.

For a proper fit, the lens must be paired with the corresponding nosepiece size: Standard Lens with Standard Nosepiece and NARO Lens with NARO Nosepiece.

DedBolt™ Lens Lock — Quick Lens Replacement

The frame uses the DedBolt™ Lens Lock system, which allows compatible lenses to be changed quickly while providing secure lens retention.

This enables users to change lenses according to lighting conditions or intended use without replacing the entire eyewear system.

ESS Modular Technology™

ESS Modular Technology™ allows compatible Crossblade™ components to be combined and lenses to be changed quickly. This approach makes it possible to adapt the eyewear to specific conditions and replace individual components instead of purchasing an entirely new kit.

Different replacement lens options are available for the Crossblade™ system, including Clear, Smoke Gray, Hi-Def Copper and Hi-Def Yellow. Specific availability depends on lens size and configuration.

Crossblade™ Lenses — 2.4 mm Polycarbonate

Compatible Crossblade™ lenses are made from 2.4 mm high-impact polycarbonate. They are separate interchangeable components and are not included with this frame kit unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product configuration.

A compatible lens installed in the frame creates the complete Crossblade™ protective eyewear system.

ClearZone™ 2.0 Dual Flow Coating

Compatible Crossblade™ lenses feature ClearZone™ 2.0 Dual Flow Coating. The inner side of the coating is designed to help prevent fogging, while the outer side improves scratch resistance.

This technology applies specifically to Crossblade™ lenses. The Crossblade™ Frame and Nosepiece Kit itself is supplied without a lens.

ESSOPTICS™ — High Optical Precision

Important: Crossblade™ Is a Separate Platform
