Peltonen® M07 is a modern version of the Finnish national knife Puukko. It was designed by former captain of the Finnish Defense Forces Y.-P. Peltonen. This model is suitable for hunters, bushcrafters, fishermen, military personnel, and all enthusiasts of an active lifestyle.

Features of the materials

The blade is made of 80CrV2 carbon steel with a hardness of 59 HRC. It is quite strong, holds an edge for a long time, and withstands impact loads well. The special Cerakote® coating protects the steel from corrosion and reduces friction, thus protecting against dirt accumulation. This coating meets food safety certification standards, allowing for safe processing of cooked and raw products, including fish and meat.

The handle is made of TPV plastic (thermoplastic elastomer), which provides a secure grip on the knife, even with wet hands. The material is resistant to cold, temperature changes, moisture absorption, and chemical substances. A special hole is provided for attaching a lanyard or leash.

The sheath is made of a plastic composite that also withstands temperature changes well. They are compatible for belt and MOLLE system carry in both horizontal and vertical positions. The EasyLock system is also applied - a locking mechanism that ensures secure retention of the knife.
