Light Breaching Kit is a compact backpack-style carrying bag equipped with a breaching tool kit from SET® (Sweden Entry Tools).

What Is This Kit Designed For?

The kit contains everything a professional team needs for rapid entry into buildings and individual rooms, regardless of door type. This compact set can be carried in any police patrol vehicle or fire-rescue truck. The kit is lightweight and compact (weighing only 6.5 kg), taking up minimal space in a vehicle's cabin or cargo compartment. It can also be recommended for military vehicles operating in urban environments.

Bag Design Features

The bag features two zippered compartments for carrying essential equipment. The zipper sliders are equipped with pull tabs for convenient access while wearing tactical gloves. The front pocket can accommodate additional SET® equipment such as the S1 SledgeHammer, EdgeBender 2, BoltCutter, or Car Rake Compact (not included). The main compartment is designed to carry the P7 MultiPry and S3 MultiSledge (included in the kit). The front panel is equipped with a hook-and-loop area for identification patches and a MOLLE panel for attaching additional pouches.

The bag can be carried in two ways: using the side handles or the shoulder strap. The strap is individually adjustable and provides sufficient length to wear the bag over body armor or other equipment. For enhanced stability during active movement, a dedicated retention strap provides an additional stabilization point. When not in use, the shoulder strap can be secured to the bag body to prevent interference.

Material Advantages

The tools are manufactured from proprietary TacForged steel. Its primary advantage is maintaining a low weight while delivering exceptional strength. The handle is formed using a hydraulic press, creating a seamless tube construction. The working surfaces are made from forged steel alloy and are additionally hardened for increased durability.

The Light Breaching Kit Bag is made from high-quality nylon, while the walls and shoulder strap are filled with closed-cell EVA foam. This prevents moisture absorption, making transportation easier during rainy conditions. A plastic insert inside the bag helps it maintain its shape even when fully loaded. The construction utilizes reliable YKK® and Duraflex® hardware, proven through years of service in demanding environments.

The mobile breaching tool kit was developed in cooperation with officers from the Swedish Police SWAT unit and has been used by this special unit for more than 20 years. These breaching tools have also been used by numerous Ukrainian special operations units for over 15 years.
