Evacuation Stretchers are designed for use in emergency situations to transport the wounded. They can be used in conjunction with the UTactic® Animus Adapt medical backpack or with other gear that has MOLLE panel.

Design Features

The evacuation stretchers fold compactly and are transported in a special pouch. It is attached to the bottom panel of the backpack, allowing quick access with either hand using special handles on both sides.

The size and shape of the evacuation stretcher allow for proper weight distribution of the casualty to facilitate their successful evacuation. There are four handles at the corners, allowing the casualty to be transported by four, two, or one person, using the stretcher as a drag. The handles can also be used as loops to secure poles, increasing the rigidity of the structure. It is worth noting that the carrying handles are sewn diagonally across the entire surface of the stretcher. This ensures:

• even weight distribution of the casualty
• increased service life of the evacuation device
• reduced sagging and swaying of the stretcher

In the center of the evacuation stretchers, there is a strap with a buckle to secure the casualty and their limbs. It is sewn into the main fabric, so it will not detach and will provide reliable fixation. Elastic bands are placed on both sides of the strap to secure the free end.

The pouch with the stretchers includes a special evacuation strap with a sleeveless carabiner. Special loops are located on the side of the pouch for its fixation. It allows for pulling the wounded from a dangerous area or can serve as a means of transportation. The strap has loops that allow for creating a harness and transporting the wounded practically on improvised stretchers. This means there are two means of transporting casualties at once.

Materials Used for the Stretchers

The main fabric is Cordura® 500D with polyurethane coating on the inside. This material is quite durable, increasing the product's service life. Additionally, this fabric has an anti-infrared (NIR) coating on the outside, providing invisibility in night vision devices. The straps are made of high-quality nylon that does not lose its elasticity over time, ensuring maximum reliability of the product.
