Bit Kit #3 is a bit set with an adapter from Leatherman®. It is designed for using bits with multitools that do not have a built-in bit driver. The adapter mounts onto the multitool’s Phillips screwdriver and allows the use of the included bits as well as other Leatherman® bits.

Material Advantages
The adapter and bits are made from S2 steel with a hardness rating of 52–62 HRC. This tool steel features a high carbon and silicon content and is commonly used in the production of multitool accessories. It offers excellent resistance to stress and torsion, helping maintain the integrity of both the working edges and the tool itself.
The steel is finished with a Black Phosphate coating, which creates a protective layer on the surface. This treatment enhances corrosion resistance and helps prevent rust formation. In addition, the matte black finish provides a sleek appearance and reduces glare, making it easier to work in bright sunlight.
