What does CLP mean?

CLP is an abbreviation of three words Clean, Lubricate, and Protect, meaning cleaning, lubrication, and protection respectively. This lubricant combines these three functions, making it universal and versatile.

Clean: safely cleans external and internal metal surfaces, neutralizes powder residues after shooting.

Lubricate: lubricates external and internal parts of the weapon, reduces friction of moving parts of mechanisms.

Protect: protects metal from corrosion, repels moisture, creates a protective film.

Thanks to the wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +200°C, the lubricant does not lose its properties when working in extreme temperatures. Also, CPL neutralizes acidic residues from powder, removes resinous deposits, light lead, copper, and tombac deposits, and repels moisture.

Instructions for use

Standard dirt:

• Unload the weapon and remove any attachments that may interfere with cleaning
• Shake the canister
• Moisten 3-4 cleaning patches with CLP lubricant and wipe the barrel inside
• Moisten the bore brush with lubricant and make 10-15 passes
• Moisten 3-4 cleaning patches with CLP lubricant and wipe the barrel inside until they are clean
• Wipe the barrel inside with 1-2 dry patches
• Clean all exposed surfaces with a cloth soaked in CLP
• Remove the lubricant from wooden surfaces

Heavy dirt:

• Apply the lubricant to the surface to be cleaned and let it sit for some time
• Then clean with regular means and remove dirt residues

Other cases:

For stubborn dirt, it is necessary to clean with special products from the DayPatron® line, such as:

• DayPatron® Copper Killer Copper Cleaner
• DayPatron® Carbon Killer Carbon Cleaner
• DayPatron® Liquidator Gun Cleaner

For long-term storage or under adverse conditions, it is necessary to use DayPatron® Rust Protection Oil.
