Polymer machine gun belt for Kalashnikov 7.62 x 54 mm (PC, PKM, PKT, etc.) and Goryunov (SG-43, SGM) machine guns.
- The set includes 500 links.
The tape consists of separate links made of plastic. Each link has three rings connected by a jumper. The links are hingedly connected to the tape with cartridges that are inserted into the combined rings. The tape is for one-time use, the manufacturer guarantees the efficiency of the tape only once.
The special design of the links made it possible to ensure the clamping force of the cartridge, which ensures reliable extraction when loading the machine gun, strong retention during transfer, the necessary flexibility, and the absence of delays during firing.
The advantages of the tape in comparison with the existing tape:
- the tape is three times lighter than the metal tape,
- not afraid of corrosion,
- significantly cheaper to manufacture, and therefore in cost to buyers,
- convenient in modern mobile combat: the fired part of the tape does not prevent the machine gunner from moving on the battlefield, because the links are immediately removed from the machine gun.
