During WWII soviet recon units were actively using camouflage suit, which receive a nickname "amoeba" because of the characteristic form of the person in that suit. The suit had a "baggy" free cut, which allows you to wear it over any (summer and winter) clothes and military equipment, including small backpacks. This design of "Amoeba" allows to disguise a man by breaking his silhouette on ambient background environment. This suit became the basis for the creation of the future Soviet camouflage overalls.
In 2013, P1G-TAC has developed a new lightweight water resistant camouflage suit "AMEBA Mk-2" (Lightweight Waterproof Summer Suit). The basis of the suit is well-proven in the fields of World War II concept of "baggy" free cut overall which breaks human silhouette and can be worn over any clothing and modern military gear.
