Wehrmacht / SS-VT / W-SS field demi-season cloth tunic of the 1940 type. Used by rank and file at the European theater of war from 1940 until the end of World War II. The M40 tunic is made of thick wool cloth. It has four pockets in front (with voluminous folds) and one internal pocket on the right canopy inside the jacket (used for the IPP). The jacket is fastened with five metal buttons. The cuffs of the sleeves have an adjustable clasp that allows them to roll above the elbow. The places of the greatest abrasion and wear (shoulders, belt, belt hooks) are reinforced with special linings from the inside of the jacket.
