FSM (Field Sleeping Mat) is a lightweight and durable military field mat designed for comfortable use in field conditions. It can be used as a sleeping mat, a mat for shooting training, as well as when setting up field positions. The model is suitable for military professionals, hunters, anglers, hikers and travelers.

The key feature of the FSM is its folding construction. Unlike conventional sleeping mats that need to be rolled up, this model quickly folds into a compact, flat format and can be unfolded just as quickly.

600D Cordura and P-Foam

The outer layer is made from durable 600D Cordura, which protects the internal insulating foam against abrasion, punctures and snags. The material has water-repellent properties and does not absorb moisture.

Inside, the mat uses P-Foam polyurethane foam. It resists deformation after prolonged compression, returns to its original shape and does not absorb moisture.

Dimensions and Folding Construction

When unfolded, the FSM measures 61 × 1.5 × 192 cm, providing enough space for a user wearing seasonal clothing or gear. When folded, it measures only 24 × 8 × 61 cm. The mat remains flat when folded, making it easier to transport and secure to equipment.

The model weighs 0.9 kg, so the mat does not add significant extra weight when carried.

FasTex YKK Straps and Gear Transportation

The mat is equipped with two adjustable nylon straps featuring quick-opening FasTex YKK buckles. Strap length is adjusted using Velcro. The recommended position for securing the straps is diagonally.

The long straps can also be used to secure a sleeping bag, tarp, tent or additional clothing together with the mat. When folded, the FSM can serve as a compact transport platform that can be attached to a backpack or combat pack.
