Inspired by the LOWA GORE-TEX® Mountain Boots, these desert boots have suede leather uppers combined with Cordura® fabric. This combination provides ample protection while also ensuring comfort, as both materials have been chosen due to being robust, breathable and remarkably durable.

As well as being resistant to damage from tears and abrasions, the Cordura® fabric areas of the LOWA Desert Elite boot’s uppers are water repellant. While the same may not be said about the suede leather elements, waterproof boot treatments such as the LOWA Water Stop Pro Spray can be applied to help guarantee the wearer’s feet remain dry. Treatments such as these will also condition both materials and offer an additional layer of protection against dirt and everyday wear-and-tear. 

Popular with armed forces personnel who served and are currently serving in Afghanistan and the Middle East, these LOWA Elite Desert Combat Boots also benefit from Vibram MVS rubber outsoles. Made with a specially designed tread pattern that supports areas of the foot that need it most, these outsoles are effective at delaying fatigue by improving the wearer’s comfort. Take into consideration the Vibram MVS special cleat configuration and you have the perfect sole for those likely to spend days at a time traversing hard uneven terrain. Part of the LOWA Task Force Collection, these desert combat boots have been made to EN ISO 20347 specifications and are recognised as being certified occupational footwear. This means that as well as the features mentioned above, LOWA Elite Desert Combat Boots are also oil-resistant, penetration-resistant, water-resistant, anti-static, and are fitted with shock-absorbent heels.
